Saving the world's last remaining Endangered Forests
No matter which approach we take, no matter what new strategies we devise, one factor will always remain the same: We will get results. Everything we do is designed to achieve the strongest, most enduring environmental protection possible. Guided by this singular focus, we've secured the protection of more than 65 million acres (25 million hectares) of Endangered Forest; transformed the practices of dozens of major corporations; saved habitat for endangered species; and collaborated with communities to protect their land, preserve their ways of life and help them build new conservation-based economies.
The cutting edge of environmentalism
Protecting the environment requires tenacity and rapid strategic evolution. In a constantly changing landscape, we continually pioneer new, innovative ways to achieve success. When our adversaries adapt to our strategies, we change them: When protests against logging companies weren't working, we went after the companies that were buying from the logging companies. And we won.
When conventional wisdom tells us something can't be done, we challenge it. No one believed that that logging companies, government officials, indigenous leaders, environmentalists and corporations could ever come together to protect a rainforest—until we made it happen.

Protecting forests is everyone's business
People often don't realize that their purchases are contributing to the destruction of Endangered Forests. That's where we come in. Behind every piece of lumber and every sheet of paper there is a story: a forest, wildlife, people. We educate the public about the places that these products come from, and citizen outrage is never far behind.
When individuals feel helpless, we empower them. We give people the opportunity to harness their collective strength in a way that transforms corporations and governments into environmental advocates.
